How I made ‘Happy Halloween’
Editor’s Note: The following post was written by a student via the https://musicblocks.net/share-your-music-blocks-project-as-a-blog-post/ of this website. He attended a Music+Code workshop with MAP Family Learning Center.

How I made this project
In the code there are four Start Blocks.
First, I will start with the most simple set of blocks, which is the candy on the left side of the screen. I did that by making the line/trail of the mouse turn white.
Then it displays one or the other candy pictures; with the ‘one of this/that’ block.
The next two blocks are the picture and text blocks. I made it go to their position on the screen (pictures are on the right, and text is on the left). I achieved that with the white line/trail again.
Then it will display picture or text with a note block. For some blocks and all pictures, I created a different section using the ‘one of this/that’ block and the ‘+’ block. For some sections there is no pictures.
As for the the music blocks, I took some phrases from the Faber Piano books (3B, 4, and 5) that sound right to go to the story. I synced the music with the pictures and text.
The project took me around 3 hours. My sister wrote the story; thx! 🙂 If you liked it, please [open the project link and] drop a like! 🙂
