Japan travels continued (Creative Learning Meetup)

Devin had the great fortune to attend a Creative Learning Meetup (クリエイティブラーニング交流会 in Japanese) in Tokyo. The event was organized by Yumiko Murai of MIT Media Lab and held at Benesse, an education company in Japan.

Education leaders from all around Japan met to discuss what they are doing at their respective organizations.

We started by creating an object out of various small toys and parts (e.g. tubes, boxes, balloons, etc.) that represented a word for 2017 (since it was the end of the year). We each gave a ten minute talk. At the end, we mingled and exchanged business cards.
